Weapons

From Valheim Wiki

Weapons

Weapons determine your primary damage output and combat style in Valheim. Different weapon types deal different damage types (Slash, Pierce, Blunt, Elemental) and scale differently across biomes. Choosing the right weapon for enemy weaknesses is critical in later biomes.

🧭 Quick Navigation

🧾 How the totals work

  • **Base cost (Q1)** = crafting cost for quality 1 of the weapon.
  • **Upgrade cost to max** = additional materials required to upgrade from quality 1 to maximum quality.
  • Most weapons upgrade to **quality 4**, while some late-game magical or Ashlands weapons are limited to **quality 3**.
  • Totals reflect crafting + full upgrades combined.
