Troll

The Troll is a large and powerful enemy found in the Black Forest. It represents the first major “mini-boss” style threat players encounter and can deal massive damage if underestimated.

📍 Spawning

Trolls spawn in:

Open areas of the Black Forest
Near Troll Caves
Deep forest regions away from Meadows borders

They are rare compared to Greydwarfs but extremely dangerous.

Two main variants exist:

**Club Troll** – Uses a massive log as a weapon.
**Rock-Throwing Troll** – Throws large boulders from range.

⚔️ Behaviour

Trolls are aggressive and will pursue players over long distances.

They:

Perform heavy melee swings (club variant).
Throw large rocks (ranged variant).
Cause area damage with ground slams.
Can destroy trees and player-built structures.

Their attacks deal very high damage to lightly armored players.

🛠 Combat Strategy

Maintain distance and use a Crude Bow or Finewood Bow.
Kite the Troll through open terrain.
Avoid fighting near your base.
Use stamina carefully — sprinting without planning leads to death.
Bronze gear is recommended before attempting direct melee.

Well-timed dodges are critical for survival.

🔥 Weaknesses

Trolls are weak to Pierce Damage.

Effective weapons:

Finewood Bow with fire arrows.
Spears (with careful timing).

Blunt damage is less effective.

Troll Hide is used to craft the Troll Armor set.

Is ideal for ranged and stealth builds.

⚠ Threat Level

Trolls are capable of:

Killing underprepared players in one or two hits.
Destroying wooden structures.
Overwhelming players without stamina management.

New players should avoid engaging Trolls until prepared.
