Eikthyr is the first Forsaken boss in Valheim and serves as the gateway to early progression. Defeating Eikthyr unlocks mining progression and access to metal tools.

📍 How To Find Eikthyr
Eikthyr’s summoning altar can be located using the Vegvisir rune stone found in the Meadows. Activating the rune marks the boss altar on your map.
The altar is typically located in open Meadows terrain.
🔮 How To Summon
To summon Eikthyr:
- Place 2 × Deer Trophy on the sacrificial stone.
- Activate the altar.
- Prepare for immediate combat.
⚔️ Boss Fight Mechanics
Eikthyr is a large stag that uses lightning-based attacks.
Abilities include:
- **Lightning Bolt** – Ranged frontal electric attack.
- **Lightning Slam** – Area-of-effect shockwave.
- **Charge Attack** – Physical rush attack.
Damage Type:
- Primarily Lightning Damage
- Moderate physical damage
Weakness:
- No strong resistances; vulnerable to early melee weapons.

The Hard Antler allows crafting the first Antler Pickaxe, unlocking copper and tin mining in the Black Forest.

This is particularly useful for early exploration and resource gathering.
