Bonemass is the third Forsaken boss in Valheim and represents a significant difficulty spike. This fight tests preparation, poison resistance, and blunt damage effectiveness. Defeating Bonemass unlocks silver-tier progression in the Mountains biome.

📍 How To Find Bonemass

Bonemass’s summoning altar can be located using a Vegvisir rune stone found inside Sunken Crypts in the Swamp. Activating the rune reveals the altar location on your map.

The altar appears as a large skull-shaped structure rising from the swamp.

To summon Bonemass:

Place 10 × Withered Bone onto the skull altar.
Activate the altar.
Prepare for a prolonged endurance fight.

Bonemass is a massive sludge-like creature that deals heavy poison damage and summons adds throughout the fight.

Abilities include:

**Poison Vomit** – Large poison cloud that lingers and drains health.
**Summon Adds** – Spawns Blob, Ooze, and Skeleton enemies.
**Heavy Slam** – High-damage melee attack at close range.
