Dvergr Rogue

From Valheim Wiki

Dvergr Rogue

The Dvergr Rogue is a neutral NPC found in the Mistlands. Armed with powerful crossbows, Rogues defend Dvergr settlements and will become hostile if attacked or if their structures are damaged.

🌍 Overview

Biome Mistlands
Type Neutral NPC (Ranged)
Health High
Tameable No
Drops Soft Tissue, Coins (if hostile and defeated)

πŸ“ Spawning

Dvergr Rogues spawn in the Mistlands:

  • Inside Dvergr towers and outposts
  • Guarding ancient structures
  • Near Infested Mines

They are typically found alongside other Dvergr, including Mages.

βš”οΈ Behaviour

Dvergr Rogues are neutral by default.

They:

  • Remain non-hostile unless provoked.
  • Defend their structures aggressively.
  • Use powerful crossbows at long range.
  • Target hostile Mistlands creatures nearby.

If a player damages Dvergr property or attacks them directly, all nearby Dvergr may turn hostile.

πŸ›  Combat Strategy

  • Avoid provoking them unless necessary.
  • Let Dvergr fight Seekers or Gjall when possible.
  • If hostile, use cover to avoid crossbow bolts.
  • Engage from range or isolate individuals.
  • Be cautious β€” they deal significant burst damage.

They can be valuable allies if left undisturbed.

⛏ Weaknesses

Dvergr Rogues:

  • Have no major resistances.
  • Are vulnerable to standard physical and elemental damage.
  • Are dangerous primarily due to ranged burst damage.

Cover and positioning are critical in fights.

⚠ Threat Level

Dvergr Rogues are dangerous due to:

  • High ranged damage.
  • Defensive group behaviour.
  • Potential to aggro entire settlements.

However, they are avoidable and often beneficial if kept neutral.
