The Dvergr Mage is a powerful spellcasting NPC found in the Mistlands. Neutral by default, Mages defend Dvergr settlements using elemental magic and will become hostile if provoked.

π Spawning
Dvergr Mages spawn in the Mistlands:
- Inside Dvergr towers and fortified outposts
- Guarding ancient structures
- Near Infested Mines
They are usually found alongside Dvergr Rogue and other Dvergr defenders.
βοΈ Behaviour
Dvergr Mages are neutral unless provoked.
They:
- Cast elemental spells (fire or frost variants).
- Use protective shields on allies.
- Attack hostile Mistlands creatures nearby.
- Aggressively defend Dvergr structures if attacked.
Damaging Dvergr buildings or containers will turn nearby Dvergr hostile.
π Combat Strategy
- Avoid provoking them unless necessary.
- Use natural cover to block spell projectiles.
- Close distance carefully β they deal heavy burst damage.
- Isolate them from Rogues if combat is unavoidable.
- Be cautious of elemental damage types.
They are significantly more dangerous than Rogues due to magic burst damage and support abilities.
β Weaknesses
Dvergr Mages:
- Have no extreme resistances.
- Are vulnerable to sustained physical damage.
- Can be staggered if pressured quickly.
However, their spellcasting makes direct engagement risky.
π Drops
| Item | Use |
|---|---|
| Soft Tissue | Crafting advanced Mistlands equipment |
| Coins | Currency |
Soft Tissue is a key crafting resource in the Mistlands progression tier.
β Threat Level
Dvergr Mages are dangerous because:
- High elemental burst damage.
- Shielding support for allies.
- Settlement-wide aggression if provoked.
While neutral by default, fighting them can be more difficult than engaging standard Mistlands creatures.
