π Spawning
Gjall spawn in the Mistlands:
- Roaming above rocky terrain
- Near Infested Mines
- In deeper mist-covered regions
They are highly visible and audible due to their large size and distinctive sound.
βοΈ Behaviour
Gjall are airborne siege-style enemies.
They:
- Float above ground rather than landing.
- Launch explosive fire projectiles at range.
- Spawn or drop Tick enemies during combat.
- Maintain aerial positioning while attacking.
Their fire attacks deal heavy damage and can set players ablaze.
π Combat Strategy
- Always carry a Wisp Light to maintain visibility.
- Use high-damage ranged weapons to bring them down safely.
- Clear spawned Ticks quickly to avoid being overwhelmed.
- Use terrain or structures for projectile cover.
- Maintain fire resistance and strong stamina food.
Fighting a Gjall in open terrain without preparation can be lethal.
β Weaknesses
Gjall:
- Take consistent damage from ranged weapons.
- Are vulnerable to sustained bow attacks.
- Are easier to fight in areas with natural cover.
Because they remain airborne, melee engagement is rarely viable.

- Extremely high health.
- Aerial bombardment capability.
- Fire damage over time.
- Deployment of additional enemies mid-fight.
They function almost like roaming mini-bosses within the biome.
