Fuling
The Fuling is the primary humanoid enemy of the Plains. Fast, aggressive, and often encountered in groups, Fulings represent a major difficulty spike compared to earlier biomes.
π Overview
| Biome | Plains |
|---|---|

π Spawning
Fulings spawn in the Plains, commonly:
- Around Fuling Villages
- Patrolling open plains areas
- Near stone structures and camps
They are most dangerous when encountered in groups, especially near villages which may contain multiple Fulings, Shamans, and Berserkers.
βοΈ Behaviour
Fulings are aggressive and intelligent enemies.
They:
- Rush players quickly once alerted.
- Use melee weapons (clubs, spears, torches).
- Can throw spears at range (spear variants).
- Coordinate in groups, overwhelming unprepared players.
At night, additional Fulings may roam outside of villages.
π Combat Strategy
- Avoid charging directly into villages without scouting.
- Use ranged weapons to thin groups before engaging.
- Prioritise Shamans and spear-throwers first.
- Maintain stamina for dodge rolls β Fulings attack rapidly.
- Consider using terrain elevation to control engagements.
They are individually manageable but become deadly in numbers.
β Weaknesses
Fulings have no extreme weaknesses, but:
- Blunt and slash damage are effective.
- Crowd control and stagger mechanics are valuable.
- Shields with high block power are strongly recommended.
Preparation and positioning are more important than specific damage types.
π Drops
| Item | Use |
|---|---|
| Black Metal Scrap | Smelted into Black Metal for late-game weapons |
| Fuling Trophy | Decoration |
| Coins | Trading with Haldor |
Black Metal Scrap is essential for crafting powerful Plains-tier gear.
β Threat Level
Fulings mark the transition into late-game combat difficulty.
They are dangerous due to:
- High movement speed
- Group coordination
- Village density encounters
- Synergy with Shamans and Berserkers
Entering the Plains without proper armour and food preparation can quickly result in death.
