Tick
The Tick is a small parasitic enemy found in the Mistlands. Often deployed by Gjall, Ticks latch onto players and drain health rapidly if not removed quickly.

📍 Spawning
Ticks spawn in the Mistlands:

* Dropped by Gjall during combat
* Near Infested Mines
* In dense mist-covered areas

They are rarely encountered alone and usually appear during larger engagements.
----

⚔️ Behaviour
Ticks are fast and aggressive parasites.

They:

* Leap toward players.
* Attach themselves on contact.
* Drain health over time.
* Remain attached until shaken off or killed.

While attached, they restrict movement and rapidly reduce health.
----

🛠 Combat Strategy
* Roll (dodge) to dislodge attached Ticks.
* Kill them quickly before they latch on.
* Prioritise clearing them during Gjall encounters.
* Maintain high health food to offset drain.
* Avoid being surrounded.

Individually weak, they become deadly when ignored during larger fights.
----

⛏ Weaknesses
Ticks:

* Have extremely low health.
* Are vulnerable to all damage types.
* Can be killed quickly with light melee weapons.

Speed and awareness are more important than weapon type.
----

🎁 Drops
|Blood Clot
|Crafting Mistlands-tier items
|}
Blood Clots are used in advanced crafting recipes within the Mistlands progression path.
----

⚠ Threat Level
Ticks are dangerous primarily because:

* They attach and drain health rapidly.
* They often appear mid-fight.
* They restrict mobility.
* They compound pressure during Gjall encounters.

While not threatening alone, they are highly disruptive support enemies.
----
